Corner Crew Course Completion Level 1
Well done to everyone that attended the level one corner crew course. I am sure it was a little deeper than expected but im sure it opened a few eyes into the responsibility of the position.

Corner Crew Course Level 1
Level 1 corner crew course 13th February
Level 1 of the corner crew training programme comprises of an introduction to the corner crew role
Objectives
- to increase participant awareness in relation to the corner crew role
- to explore what a corner crew member is and is not
- to indentify corner crew skills and qualities
- to understand equal opportunities and diversity issues
- to enable students to manage their own expectations
Activites will include
- Knowing the safety procedures and rules
- Operating within defined contact rules
- Being prepared with the mandatory equipment
- Understanding how events are scored and majority votes
- Penalty criteria and how to protest
- Physically meet expectations for competition.

Next Grading Date 21st March
Its coming round fast and your stepping stone to the next level. Most of you have stepped up your game and well on track hopefully this will just be another formality for you guys. Please remember you dont have to grade & you dont have to progress, but if you do want to progress you need to put the work in.
As usual free mock gradings will be available prior to the real gradings.
21st February
14th March
As usual you will need to of successfully attended at least one of these to be eligable to grade.

King of the Ring II
The second combat tournament featuring local amateur talent is now scheduled for the 6th March here at the centre. 17 fighters have signed up to take part in the event which should make it an exciting evening. Tickets officially go on sale 8th Febuary and limited due to the facilities please contact the centre to purchase yours.
This event will feature
- Amateur boxing
- Amateur kickboxing
